 "My first experience with Janet Griffin's attunement was a BodyScan in 2001, which explained some of my idiosyncracies and decisions based on past lives which created blocks to my future. I used her services a few more times over the years, though most recently in a [tapping] session that revealed a huge ancient belief that had blocked my love life in a big way--trusting myself. Having had the privilege of knowing and spending time with Janet, I know that any time I spend surrounded by her energy will, beyond providing an opportunity to connect with Spirit, be loving, kind, and safe. I didn’t know what to expect when I walked into the room where I met BoSama. I walked into the energetically charged space, saw people I already knew and loved, and immediately felt Janet’s familiar warmth.

It was a little unlike any other visit, too, in that I remember her seated purposefully in a high-backed chair rather than circulating among the rest of us. She sat, along with another woman, facing the row of chairs where the audience sat. There was a slight but definite distance between us that was unusual.

I’m sure there was a centering exercise – something that allowed us to put down whatever we’d carried to the Purple Barn, and bring us together as a group.  A sacred time and space was created with intention. I don’t remember if Janet or her assistant called to BoSama or if Janet went inward but her eyes closed and before long her expression changed. Melissa asked if BoSama was present and if they had a message for us. The difficulty of our current political situation was acknowledged and we were reminded of the importance of our carrying the light to others – that it was important that we continue to demonstrate the change we wanted to see in the world but more than that: BoSama’s message to us as a group and to me specifically when I had the opportunity to ask a question was to follow my joy wherever it leads. My path to doing good in this world lay in the things that brought me joy and while it would require sincere effort and dedication, it wouldn’t require struggling or fighting any resistance.

As I am about to retire from my day job and trying to figure out what comes next, that message was especially reassuring. It allowed to me to reframe this next chapter as one of exploration and discovery rather than trying to follow a specific plan.
